Will the championship take a definitive turn at the end of this Valencian Community Grand Prix? While Sam Lowes seemed headed for the title after making an extraordinary comeback in recent races, last weekend changed everything. The Englishman actually had a problem with his machine and made a mistake, which allowed Enea Bastianini to regain the lead in the general classification and Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi to catch up.

Victim of a heavy fall yesterday, Lowes suffered and could not qualify better than 18th. Weakened physically and in difficulty in the championship, things are complicated but he has shown that he has made progress in managing pressure this year and will perhaps manage to prove it again. His main adversary, bastianini, is not extremely well qualified either since he will start from 12th place, but he is a regular in the comebacks. It is preceded by Marini, who will be 10th on the grid.

However, Bezzecchi will start from third position, and will have every chance to score important points after his victory last week. He will advance Fabio Di Giannantonio, the strong man of the weekend, still in the top 4. Stefano manzi will also be one to watch since the Italian has won the first pole position of his career and will have nothing to lose in the race, and on the contrary everything to gain, he who has never been on the podium. Who will win at the end of the 25 rounds? Meet at 12:20 p.m. for departure!

With 21 degrees in the air, 25 degrees on the track and no rain on the horizon, the conditions are ideal for the penultimate Moto2 race of the season. When the lights go out, Stefano manzi got a very good start but was overtaken by Marco Bezzecchi, who is about to take the lead but it was forgotten Jorge Martín who dives in front of him. The Sky VR46 driver is a little jostled and finds himself fourth, behind Fabio Di Giannantonio. Luca marini gained four places and Enea Bastianini two. They are sixth and tenth respectively. For his part, Sam Lowes is struggling in 21st place.

Bezzecchi climbs back into second position and takes the lead on the fifth lap of the race. By Giannantonio follows him and Martín finds himself third, ahead Manzi et Marcel Schrötter, which confirms its good weekend. Then come Héctor Garzo, Marini et bastianini, which continue their rise. Jorge Navarro et Will Bendsneyder complete the top 10. Marcos Ramirez crash in turn 6.

Three rounds later, Garzo pass Schrötter and despite the German's resistance, he has the last word and immediately escapes to return to Manzi, which it also doubles. He sets the fastest lap in the race two laps in a row and catches up with the leading trio. Behind, the Italian makes a mistake in turn 2.

At the halfway mark, Bezzecchi always leads Di Giannantonio. Garzo just passed Martín and is virtually on his first podium. The four men are ahead of the pursuers by eight tenths. Schrötter, well established in fourth place, improved his pace and began to come back. Behind, Marini et bastianini fail to rise. NAVARRO, Bendsneyder et Remy gardner close the top 10. The Australian moved up from 19th position on the grid. Lorenzo Dalla Porta crash in turn 6.

The gaps are gradually widening. Bezzecchi et Di Giannantonio are a second ahead of Garzo, which itself is a second ahead of Martín. If the positions remained as they are, bastianini would still be leader of the championship with 12 points ahead of Bezzecchi, 14 on Lowes and 17 on Marini.

NAVARRO, who had started a nice comeback and was seventh, fell, while Lowes Doubled Tom Luthi for 18th place.

With five laps to go, Lowes passes 16th. In front, Di Giannantonio double Bezzecchi but widens a few turns later and the Sky VR46 driver passes again. Martín double for its part Garzo for third place. Aron Canet share in the fault, which allows Lowes to be 15th and score a point.

In the penultimate lap, By Giannantonio doubles again, whileEdgar Pons fall. Martín et Garzo returned to the leading men. By Giannantonio begins to open a gap but falls in turn. The fight rages for victory and it's an extraordinary finish that the three men who stayed on their wheels offer us: Martín pass Bezzecchi, and the latter is surprised by Garzo which dives in turn. Red Bull KTM rider Ajo thus offers himself his second victory in Moto2 and Garzo his first podium. The disappointment is great on the side of Bezzecchi who loses valuable points in the championship. Marini finished fifth, bastianini sixth and Lowes 14th. The Englishman thus maintains his second place in the general classification. The title will therefore be decided next weekend, during the grand finale in Portimão.
