Moto2 Valencia FP3: Pedro Acosta confirms his leadership

Pedro Acosta set the best time in the second free practice session of the Valencian Community Grand Prix in the Moto2 class, 20th and final stage of the 2022 World Championship. The Red Bull Ajo Team rider set the fastest lap in 1 '34.948, a time that allowed him to beat his teammate Augusto Fernandez by 0.121s, leader of the world ranking with 9,5 points ahead of Ai Ogura (Team Asia), only 11th on Friday. 

We recall thatOgura had made a mistake at Sepang, crashing while firmly in second position in an attempt to overtake Tony Arbolino, with his rival Fernandez ranked behind him. A scenario that practically gave him the title. For the rest of the classification of this FP2 we find Alonso lopez with the Speed ​​Up with the third beat, followed by Jake dixon (Aspar) and Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia).

Excellent sixth place for Mattia Pasini which replaces Barry Baltus injured on the Kalex of Team RW Racing GP. Behind the “Paso” follows Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS). Close the Top Ten Cameron Beaubier (American Racing), Borja Gomez (Pons) and Albert Arenas (Aspar). As mentioned, Ai Ogura is 11th, still 0,905 seconds behind the leader.
