In Misano this weekend, we took of forever the numéro 58 of the Grand Prix competition, in memory of the man who wore it but disappeared, Marco Simoncelli. However, it is not dedicated to the museum or the monument. He will continue to live in competition through the team managed by the father of the late pilot, Paolo. After the VR46 team, here is the SIC58 Squadra Corse entered in the Moto3 Grand Prix.
In 2017, there will be one more team in Moto3. Paolo Simoncelli did what was necessary with Carmelo Ezpeleta during the last San Marino Grand Prix to ensure its presence on the Moto3 starting grid its SIC58 Squadra Corse structure.
Two pilots are expected according to speedweek. A duo already in place since it involves Tony Arbolino as well as Mattia Casadei. The first is currently ranked 10th on a Honda already in the team's colors in FIM CEV, and the other is doing his apprenticeship in the Red Bull Rookies Cup reserved for KTMs (9th overall, pole position in Misano).
