At Mahindra after a complicated start due to an unreliable gearbox, we are having a great season with already two victories. What to prepare for a hell of a 2017 season? Even! Because all of its current best drivers have decided to leave.

The Mahindra brand has had an exciting run this season with two victories already. One taken by bagnaia in the Netherlands with the Aspar cap, and the other under the Peugeot label with a McPhee in good shape on the wet Brno track. Not bad for an Indian brand which is also an industrial giant in an emerging country. What to prepare for a hell of a 2017 season? Even! Because all of its current best drivers have decided to leave.

Were Mahindra's latest positive results happy accidents exacerbated by the individual talent of the drivers? We can ask ourselves this with the catastrophic results of the last match in Misano where the Indian machines were quite simply anonymous. We must also remember the difficulties of the Mahinda at the start of the year because of their gearbox.

At the end of the last San Marino Grand Prix, there was no Mahindra in the points and it's still a Manzi invited as at Silverstone who did the best, without saving the furniture, with a sixteenth place which was the best ranking for the manufacturer during this meeting.

Meanwhile, none of Mahindra's current top drivers are considering a sequel with the crest. bagnaia will go to Moto2 under the VR46 awning, John McPhee Honda is preparing a future in Moto3, a category that will be explored next year George Martin with a Honda Gresini.

SO ? Rumor has it that the Indian adventure will continue with three teams and six drivers. At Aspar, we are working on options Albert Arenas and Lorenzo Dalla Porta. At Peugeot, we don't know yet, while at the CIP we might have Tatsuki Suzuki et Marco Bezzecchi.

A new team was envisaged with Maria Herrera et Makar Yurchenko but, from what we understand, Mahindra did not wish to supply the motorcycles.
