The young Turkish pilot Deniz Oncu will make his debut in Moto3 in 2020. He will work alongside Ayumu Sasaki, in Red Bull's new Moto3 project KTM Tech 3. The 16-year-old talent has already achieved good results in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, contesting for the title in 2018. This year he competed in the FIM CEV World Championship Moto3 and gained his first experience in the Moto3 World Championship five times with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, replacing his injured brother Can.

Deniz Oncu : “I am very happy to participate in the Moto3 World Championship with Red Bull KTM Tech3. It's a dream come true, because I always wanted to ride there as a starter. I want to improve in every race next year and I will give my best. My goal is to be as consistent as possible and to get into the points. A big thank you to Hervé Poncharal for giving me this chance! »

Hervé Poncharal, team manager of Tech3: “finally, we can announce the full composition of our Red Bull KTM Tech3 Moto3 team and we are very proud to say that Deniz Oncu will be the teammate of Ayumu Sasaki. This is going to be a very intense season for all of us. But it will be interesting for us, because for the first time Tech 3 will enter the Moto3 category. We know this category is crucial for KTM, just as I know they are working very hard on the new bike and it will be another exciting and hopefully successful project for Red Bull KTM Tech3. »
