The FIM and Dorna Sports published on Thursday the lists of Moto2 and Moto3 teams selected for 2022.
In this last category, no less than three new teams will join the field next year: MT Helmets – MSI Race Tech, Team MTA and Vision Track Honda.

This latter structure is primarily intended to promote young British talents and brings together the means and energies of several entities, starting with the Michael Laverty Academy, project manager of the project linked to the British Talent Cup.
Now aged 40, the former BSB, Supersport and even MotoGP rider explains: “Finding the budget to race motorcycles is not easy for younger riders and, for British riders, it has recently been particularly difficult to manage to progress to the world championship. Now, thanks to this great structure and a title sponsor like VisionTrack, we can give the right opportunity to some talents. »
« Le UK has a long history of great success in motorcycling, so our aim is to get back on that path to enable our young riders to have the right springboard for a long career at the highest level. I have seen Scott and Josh racing in the Junior World Championships this season and I believe in their ability to rise to the Grand Prix level. »

The future team will have Vision Track, cameras for automobiles, as title sponsor, and will field Scott Ogden, 17, et Josh Whatley, 16, in the Moto3 world championship, on Hondas.

The first is currently 5th in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship within the Spanish team Aspar Junior Team, the second is 19th in the colors of the Italian team MTA.
