It is with a sad heart that we report here this message from Alexis Masbou who will be replaced at the Austrian Grand Prix by Albert Arenas, currently 6th in the FIM CEV Repsol Junior World Championship in the Aspar-Mahindra colors!

Hoping that the friendly French rider finds a solution in Moto2 next year, even if it is always difficult, or in World SuperSport, we show him our affection in memory of the good times spent together... Courage Alexis!

Alexis Masbou: “Today it is with a heavy heart that I announce my separation from the Peugeot MC Saxoprint team. As you know, the start of the season was difficult and the results were not what we expected. For my future, nothing is yet fixed, but the Grand Prix chapter is surely closing after 11 years in this championship. In this environment, I met people with bad intentions, but above all extraordinary people who made me grow day after day. During these 11 years, I went through multiple emotions and also hard blows, like today, and I know that each time they made me more resilient. Above all, I will remember the moments of joy and happiness that made me want to fight even in the most difficult moments. Today, I'm sad... Sad to end with this failure, but I will come out even stronger! »

Alexis will nevertheless be present in the paddock in Austria.
