The Moto3 category opened the qualifying sessions, during which Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96) thought he had his very first pole, but that was without counting on a final lap from Izan Guevara (GasGas , GasGas Aspar Team, #28) in 1'25.869, who only completed one timed lap during Q2, waiting for the last two minutes to show what he was capable of. The Majorcan beat his previous benchmark by a little more than a tenth. This left behind a gap of three tenths on his pursuers, which Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) only reduced by a few hundredths as he took the checkered flag. Also, the first row will be made up of Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28), followed by Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and an excellent Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96), the rookie seeing himself demoted from the top of the timing screens in the last minute of the session.

Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #71) also spent the first part of Q2 at the head of the peloton, but ultimately had to settle for fourth place, sharing the second row with his compatriots Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24) and Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM, MT Helmets – MSI, #6). David Munoz (KTM, BOE SKX, #44) continues his excellent debut in the world championship with a start on the third row, being nine thousandths of a second faster than the championship leader, Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11), and another hundredth in front Matteo Bertelle (KTM, QJMotor Avintia Racing Team, #18), who saved his place at the last minute in Q1. Scott Ogden (Honda, VisionTrack Racing Team, #19) completes the top 10 places, sharing the fourth row with Joel Kelso (KTM, CIP-Green Power, #66) and Andrea Migno (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team, #16).

John mcphee (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #17) opens the fifth row of the grid, alongside the leader of Q1, Adrian Fernandez (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #31), and Riccardo rossi (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse, #54) who experienced difficult qualifying with a crash at the end of the Q1 session. As for the man right in front of him, Xavier Artigas (CFMoto, CFMoto Racing PruestelGP, #43) also tested the gravel trap at the end of Q1 and excellent work from his mechanics allowed him to reach Q2 and share the sixth row with Carlos Tatay (CFMoto, CFMoto Racing PruestelGP, #99) and Jaume Masia (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #5), the latter having crashed before setting a time in the session.

Although Diogo Moreira (KTM, MT Helmets – MSI, #10) missed Q2 by only four hundredths of a second, the big loser of Q1 was Deniz Oncu (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #53), who was the fastest to take the checkered flag but his best time was canceled due to exceeding the track limits, dropping him to 24th place on the rack.

Finally, our French Lorenzo Fellon (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse, #20) will occupy 22nd place on the grid.

At the end of the morning, the air temperature was 31°C and that of the track 43°C.

The drivers are ready to set off for this 27-lap race.

Here is the drivers' choice of tires for this race.

When the red lights go out, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) maintains the advantage over Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7), Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24) moved back to third position. An incident at the first corner involves Riccardo rossi (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse, #54), John mcphee (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #17) and Carlos Tatay (CFMoto, CFMoto Racing PruestelGP, #99), who took away the 2 other drivers in his fall.

Riccardo rossi (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse, #54) will pass through the Medical Center. Andrea Migno (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team, #16) and Adrian Fernandez (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #31) are also involved in this incident.

At the end of the first round, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) is first, in front Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24). The first 7 drivers are held within 1 second, and the battle rages behind the leader, but for the moment, no driver stands out. The helicopter view provides a better understanding of the incident at turn 1.

Deniz Oncu (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #53) and Kaito Toba (KTM, CIP-Green Power, #27) are penalized with a double Long Lap for having anticipated the start. The Turkish driver had already moved up to 9th position, despite his complicated qualifying.

After 5 rounds of curls, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) is 0.401 s ahead of Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96), who passed the 2 Leopard Racing drivers, Dennis Foggia et Tatsuki suzuki. The fight between the pursuers allows the leader to get some air.

With only 23 rounds left, it's hot between Deniz Oncu (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #53) and Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM, MT Helmets – MSI, #6), and another big fall involving Matteo Bertelle (KTM, QJMotor Avintia Racing Team, #18) and Scott Ogden (Honda, VisionTrack Racing Team, #19) takes place. The Italian driver has knee pain and will also go to the Medical Center.

With 20 laps to go, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) has a lead of 0.819 s over the chasing group, made up of Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7), Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24), Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11), Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #71) and Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96). Jaume Masià (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #5) is 8th, 4.5 seconds from the leader and 3 seconds from the chasing group.

Joel Kelso (KTM, CIP-Green Power, #66) falls without gravity and returns to the track, then abandons.

With 15 laps remaining and we are approaching the halfway mark, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) does not relax its efforts and has a lead of 1.680s over Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7), closely followed by Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11), much more comfortable in the race than in qualifying. Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24), Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #71) and Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96) are also part of the chasing group.

With 13 laps to go, Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM, MT Helmets – MSI, #6) suffered a mechanical problem and retired.

There are already only 10 laps left, and at the front, the positions are stabilizing: Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) is now 2.272s ahead of Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7), followed very closely by Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11). Deniz Oncu (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3, #53) is 7th despite his double Long Lap, 10s from the leader and 7s from the chasing group. Without this complicated qualification and this early start, he could have fought for victory.

We enter the last 5 laps of this German Grand Prix, and it's still Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) who is in control, now 4.369s ahead of Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11). This second part of the race is less lively, which is relatively rare in the dry in Moto3, but Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) seems untouchable this weekend.

At the start of the last lap, barring any problems, Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) will finish on the highest step of the podium, having a lead of 5.321s over his pursuers. Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11) have not yet decided in what order the podium will be, regularly exchanging second position, with Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #71) which is in the GasGas rider exhausts.

Daniel Holgado (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #96), 6th, can no longer keep up with the pace and finds himself 3s behind Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, Leopard Racing, #24), which is also 1s behind Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Husqvarna Max, #71).

When passing under the checkered flag, it is therefore an imperial Izan Guevara (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #28) who won the race with 4.853s ahead of Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and Sergio Garcia (GasGas, GasGas Aspar Team, #11), who tried everything in the last lap. This is the 5th consecutive podium for Guevara.

Lorenzo Fellon (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse, #20) finished in 18th position.
