Moto3 Germany

Which season. On the Mugello circuit, Moto3 exceeded expectations, with an absolutely memorable finish. No less than four riders could have won, and above all, the poleman Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo), but that was without counting on a Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) on fire, 51 thousandths of a second ahead at the crossing the line. After a dominant victory at Le Mans, the Spaniard increased his lead at the top of the world championship and arrived on German soil as favorite. Will he be able to make the three pass in Germany? “Crazy Boy” Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) doesn’t intend to let him do it, nor does Jaume Masiá (Honda Leopard Racing), second overall. But first, time for free practice.

This morning, Ayumu Sasaki didn't do anything lace. Without waiting for qualifying, he broke the previous track record, and brought the mark to 1'25.840. Deniz Oncu is not that far despite this performance, and as often, Jaume Masia remains in ambush.

Here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far.

The weather is no longer the same as this morning, to say the least! The rain hits Saxony, and the German route does not avoid the downpour. Moto3 riders are quite shy when the lights go out, and do not rush to take to the track. Riccardo rossi (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corsica) is the first to hit the track.

A few minutes later, there’s a deluge! Rare images these days in MotoGP. Suffice to say that the few drivers on the track currently do not bother each other. Kaito Toba (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corsica) records “significant” weather, but everything will depend on how the weather develops. However, the rain seems to be decreasing in intensity. Scott Ogden (Honda VisionTrack Racing Team) is also in the neck, just like Andrea Migno, replacing Lorenzo Fellon in KTM CIP Green Power.

The same Scott Ogden suffered a big fall a little later. Luckily he is fine but the volume was impressive due to the speed. Immediately, red flags are raised. The session is stopped due to a air-fence holed. The rain has stopped, but conditions remain difficult. Mario Aji (Honda Team Asia) points in the lead at the interruption.

On relaunch, Ryusei Yamanaka (Gaviota GasGas Aspar Moto3) is the fastest, but soon overtaken by others who take advantage of the slow drying of the track. Note the good return ofAdrian Fernandez (Honda Leopard Racing), currently replacing Tatsuki suzuki following his big fall during the Italian Grand Prix.

Huge fall for Deniz Oncu in the Waterfall! the Turk is the victim of a big highside in the rapid descent, and holds his arm or wrist; Either way, it's not a good sign.

Matthew Bertelli, for the Honda Snipers Team, takes the lead while Mario Aji he also falls. Bertelle remains in the lead of this P2 Moto3 in Germany. He is ahead “Pitito” Fernandez et Deniz Oncu, who was unable to finish his fast lap due to his highside.
