Alonso López sees himself off the Moto3 grid in 2021. Max Biaggi's team in the category will line up without him next season, perhaps putting Adrian Fernández as Romano Fenati's teammate.
Bad news emerged for the Moto3 rider Alonso lopez. An unpleasant way to start 2021, since the structure of Max Biaggi in the Grand Prix entry category leaves the Spaniard out of the box. Although his contract was renewed for this 2021 season, money problems led to a decision in which Alonso is, for the moment, off the starting grid and out of the Sterilgarda Max Racing Team as a teammate of Roman Fenati.
Although it is not yet official, Biaggi's team seems to be betting on Adrian Fernandez (The brother of Raul Fernandez) to occupy the place left vacant by the ousting of Alonso, as revealed by the daily AS. The young driver already took part in the last Portuguese Grand Prix and shared the track with his brother. But the economic question is the main reason for this last minute change. After three seasons in the Moto3 world championship, Alonso lopez will fight for a place in the championship and try to continue doing what he is most passionate about.
