Just over 300 days have passed since his last Moto3 podium, and around 330 since his last victory. Andrea Migno is inexplicably stuck and struggling to find a good saddle, if only for CEV Moto2, World Supersport and even CIV. He participated in 153 MotoGP races, scored 659 points and obtained 11 podiums including 2 victories. In 2022 he finished the Moto3 World Championship in the top 10, but huge sums are being asked of him, as if his past never existed, it already seems to have been forgotten.

« I'm always on foot ", confessed Andrea Migno to Corsedimoto, “ and I'm really sorry. They all ask for a lot of money, money that I don't have and it is very difficult for me to raise such sums. »

Can you give us an idea of what they are asking?
« For the Moto2 world championship, they ask for between 300 and 400 thousand euros, they want 200 thousand euros for the CEV Moto 2. For the Supersport world championship a little less, but they need a lot of money even there and In any case there would be no more space because the grid is full. »

Are you also thinking about CIV?
« My priority is the CEV to stay in the circuit and hope to return to MotoGP, but if I don't succeed, I would also consider the CIV, both in Supersport and in Superbike. In the CIV, I may have a chance because the numbers are lower. I'm working on it but it's difficult. »

Is it more anger or more discouragement?
" Both. I still have a lot of passion, a lot of desire to run, to get out of this foggy period. There is still a little discouragement, I'm not going to deny it. I don't think it's right that things are like this. There is a problem with the system. I continue to train as if I were racing, I want to be ready for all eventualities. From time to time I think of Aleix Espargaró who was on foot then found a great saddle and won in MotoGP. He is my inspiration and I wholeheartedly hope to experience a fairy tale like his. I'm not giving up, I want to run and I hope I can do it. »
