Last weekend, MotorLand Aragón hosted the first of two meetings on the Moto3 calendar in Alcañiz.

And despite the sometimes very cool temperatures, Darryn Binder immediately showed himself to be very fast, setting the best time in the opening session. Fourth in the combined standings of the two Friday sessions, he managed to maintain this place to enter directly into Q2.

Qualified in 11th position, he once again had a phenomenal race, fighting for victory from start to finish. He ultimately finished in second place, less than a tenth behind the winner.

Darryn binder (2nd): “ It was a good weekend. He started strong with the best time in FP1. I managed to achieve good qualifications. I started in 11th position and had a very good race. When the group broke, I managed to close the gap and get back to the front. I was fighting for victory at the finish. Unfortunately, I wasn't close enough in the last corner to make an attack. I am very happy with this second place. I'm happy to stay in Aragon to try to win next week. »

Alain Bronec (Team Owner): “ Another podium for Darryn after tests during which he showed that he was very fast. He set the best time in the first session. He started from 11th place on the grid, but after a very good start, he set the fastest lap of the race. He was very fast until the end. He finished second very close to victory, this confirms all the work we have been doing with Darryn over the last two years. He is very confident and when the group broke down he was able to close the gap. »
