At the end of the first day of a Teruel Grand Prix marking the second visit in two weeks for the drivers to the Aragon track, no one will have managed to compete with Jaume Masia, who is none other than the winner of the previous meeting. Jeremy Alcoba will actually have missed four thousandths. The representative of the Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 team had to be content with the second fastest time overall in these two sessions.

Roman Fenati (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) retained third position. Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo), author of a discreet entry this time, moved up to fourth place. The fifth combined time returned Gabriel Rodrigo (Kömmerling Gresini Moto3). The Argentinian, however, suffered a fall at the end.

Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Tech3) finished seventh this day, unable to improve his morning performance. Darryn binder (CIP – Green Power), reassembled from the 16e place, ahead of him in the ranking. Ai Ogura (Honda Team Asia), Albert Arenas (Solunion Aspar Team Moto3), current leader in the World Championship and John mcphee (Petronas Sprinta Racing) complete the provisional Top 10.

Tony Arbolino (Rivacold Snipers Team), back after his quarantine period, Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing), Filip Salac (Rivacold Snipers Team) and Tatsuki suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse) would also be automatically qualified if the hierarchy did not change. The Moto3 riders now meet for a third free practice session.
