The various practice sessions and qualifying sessions have shown that Max Biaggi's driver is far from giving up the fight, and will start in pole position ahead of Ai Ogura (Honda, Honda Team Asia) and the very young wildcard Carlos Tatay (KTM, Fundacion Andreas Perez 77), recent winner of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Tony Arbolino is 7th on the grid, Lorenzo dalla Porta 12e.

After the overnight rain, the track is now dry, with mostly clear skies and temperatures of 26° in the air and 27° on the ground.

At the front, it is a small train of 11 drivers which gradually breaks away. Lorenzo Dalla Porta, the championship leader, is not part of it since provisionally 16th.
To Tony Arbolino, things are looking better, the young Italian currently occupying 3rd place.
With 15 laps to go, Alonso lopez makes a first attack. Aron Canet regains the advantage immediately, which shakes up the leading group somewhat, to the benefit of Tony Arbolino et John McPhee (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing) started 7th.
Marcos Ramirez (Honda, Leopard Racing), currently 4th in the championship, fell without seriousness.
Aron Canet, faster than his opponents in the winding, managed to gain an advantage of one second 12 laps from the checkered flag. Behind, under the leadership of Tatsuki suzuki, we are fighting for 2nd place, thus increasing the gap with the leader.

Aron Canet for the moment seems to be doing a very good job in the championship since Tony Arbolino is currently 11th, Lorenzo Dalla Porta 12th, 4 laps from the end of the race…
In the last laps, Ai Ogura manages to contain the rest of the peloton until Dennis Foggia places a second attack in the last turn.
Aron Canet unfolds until the finish, while, behind, Ai Ogura pass Dennis Foggia on aspiration in the straight line.
