It was Dennis Foggia who brilliantly ended the series of free practice sessions for this Aragon Grand Prix of the specialty, by taking over the third and last of Saturday morning. The Leopard team driver, at the end of the exercise, stopped the clock at 1'58.051, ahead of Izan Guevara (GAS GAS) and Darryn Binder (Petronas) only 25 thousandths behind.
The fourth beat is for gabriel rodrigo (Gresini) which is ahead of the KTM by Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech3) and Sergio Garcia (GAS GAS). Niccolo Antonelli (Avintia) finished in seventh time, ahead of a very fit Lorenzo Fellon (SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Peter Acosta (KTM Ajo). Andrea Migno completed the top ten. Romano Fenati (Max Racing Team) finished in thirteenth place and won direct access to Q2.

Q1 is the prerogative of Tatsuki suzuki who established the reference in 1'58.345 and Salac. A duo that follows Sasaki et Tuff which unfortunately fell in the last moments of the session. The CIP team mechanics will have to act quickly to allow their driver to honor his place in Q2…
Job done for @TatsukiSuzuki24! ✅@FilipSalac12, @AyumuSasaki1 and @KaitoToba will join him in Q2 although the latter crashed late on, putting his participation in doubt! 💢# Moto3 | #AragonGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/v1habzyt8z

Here is the ranking for Q1:
Q2 starts with 28° in the air and 43° on the track. We learn that Sergio Garcia will remain in Moto3 with GasGas even though he was already promised Moto2 in the same Aspar structure.

Darryn binder is scary from the start with its 1'57.724. This is the steepest time of the entire weekend so far. Tuff leaves the box and will therefore participate in the party despite his fall and thanks to the dexterity of his CIP mechanics.
Suzuki joined Binder in the 1'57 zone and therefore positions himself second. Rodrigo, Antonelli et Salac complete the top 5. fellon is 14th. Acosta, for this first run, did not go out at all… Like his teammate farmhouse.
The rider to beat so far! 🔝

The last five minutes are underway. Tuff falls again three minutes from goal. It's the same turn 7 as in Q1. Darryn binder is already in his box...
Lightning strikes twice for @KaitoToba! ⚡️

Under the checkered flag, Darryn binder keep his best time and he will share the first row with Rodrigo et Suzuki which nevertheless fell. Garcia, Migno et Oncu will be on the second line. Pedro Acosta is only ninth, with Lorenzo Fellon behind him.
Second pole position of 2021!!! 👏@ DarrynBinder40's early effort proves good enough, although the practice start needs a bit of work! 💪# Moto3 | #AragonGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/3dsU3lWAvK
