Qualifying fourth, he fought for victory before a tire problem caused him to drop to eleventh position.
Despite this mistake that he has in mind, Canet says he is happy with this upcoming weekend: “We arrive at the Argentine Grand Prix almost in the summer period, because the weather there is always very good. I like the circuit, even if last year I didn't have a good feeling in the races because of a bad choice of tires. »
No specific objective declared, even if he will have to be part of the leading group to hope to win, but a very simple wish: “I hope to rediscover the good feelings I had in Qatar. »
If his teammate Alonso Lopez doesn't face the same pressure thanks to his rookie status, he knows that he will still have a lot to do this weekend: “After starting in Qatar we arrive at another circuit that I don't know, so the instructions will be the same: learn the layout, do some kilometers and try to ride alone with a good rhythm. »
Following his mistake in the race three weeks ago, the young López displays his objective for the next one: “We will have to finish the race. In Qatar I rushed six laps before the end and I crashed. Despite this, the general outcome of the Grand Prix is positive. In Argentina we will try to progress while continuing to learn and have fun. »
