Alex Viu learned the news while he was training at the Estoril circuit in Portugal for a new season in FIM CEV Moto3, a category in which he finished in 8th place in the 2018 championship, under the colors from the Marinelli Snipers Team.
Winner at Le Mans last year in FIM CEV, the young Spanish driver does not know the Argentinian track and his only objective is to have fun and learn as much as possible before giving the best of himself for another challenge the following Sunday in Estoril.

We had a test this week in Estoril and I was back at the hotel at the end of the first day when I got a call from Nico Terol to tell me there was a chance I could go to Argentina in place of Albert. At first I was speechless, I didn't know what to say. It will be a tough race, but I will learn as much as I can and try to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to compete against the best. My main goal this weekend is obviously to do a good job, but I want to take it all as a learning experience that can contribute to my ultimate goal this season, which is to be the Junior World Championship. »
