Moto3 Austria P2

Will he be able to hit the nail on the head in this P2 Moto3 in Austria? At Silverstone, David Alonso (GasGas Aspar Team) made history. By starting from last position, the Colombian rookie became the first native of his country to win in Grands Prix, and in style. Even if all eyes are on him, the headliners remain more than serious candidates. Starting with Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna Liqui Moly Intact GP), who remains on three consecutive second places, and is also in this position in the championship. Still behind the unbeatable Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3), who takes advantage of his consistency, although he has already reached the highest step of the podium three times this season.

Behind, and despite its poor performance at Silverstone, Jaume Masia (Honda Leopard Racing) remains a permanent danger. Ivan Ortolá (KTM Angeluss MTA Team) and Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Garlic), also winners this year, will not give up. This morning, during the P1, Daniel Holgado took command of operations. In the meantime, relive this P2 Moto3 in Austria with us! Here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far:

The weather is good for this afternoon. We note the presence of a wild card in CFMoto Racing Prüstel GP, in the person of Noah Dettwiller.

Already in sight this morning, the rookie Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Garlic) is the first to draw. But he is soon caught by Daniel Holgado, fast as usual. Jaume Masia is not far away, and it is the only Honda in sight since this morning. On a route belonging to KTM, he seems to be the only one capable of disgusting the employees of the Mattighofen firm.

Even if the session is extremely calm, be careful not to get caught in traffic.

And above all, pay attention to the track limits. On the Red Bull Ring route, it is very easy to get carried away on the green sections.

Five minutes from time, David Alonso shocks the board and sticks for half a second to the second! Clearly, his victory at Silverstone gave him wings. On the next lap, he broke the previous track record formerly held by Daniel Holgado. Impressive. Jaume Masia, second, is 0.7 s away!

Of course, no one can pick him up until the end of the session. Collin Veijer peaks at half a second, but it's a real I didn't answer.
