Honda Snipers Team rider Andrea Migno preceded Holgado and Suzuki in an accomplished FP1 on a wet track at the Red Bull Ring, which will host the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday, the 13th stage of the 2022 World Championship. With his time of 1 '50.378, the Italian was 0,269s ahead of his closest opponent.

Fourth and fifth beats for Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech 3) and Sergio Garcia (GasGas Aspar), the latter falling in turn 3 without consequence. Ivan Ortola (KTM MTA) is sixth, ahead Dennis Foggia (Honda Leopard), winner at Silverstone, David munoz (KTM BOE), Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets-MSI) and Izan Guevara (GasGas Aspar).

holgado et farmhouse continue to drive together and try different ways of approaching the new portion of the Austrian route. They are second and third. The hierarchy does not move even though we are already entering the last quarter of an hour.

Oncu falls and clings with fellon in the last minute.

Under the checkered flag, it's  Foggia who took the lead in 1'41.774, ahead Oncu, under investigation, McPhee, Suzuki et Moreira. Garcia is 13th, just behind his teammate Guevara. fellon is 24th.
