Deniz Öncü Styria

It is with Romano Fenati in pole position that this Moto3 version of the Austrian Grand Prix will start with a highly charged peloton. The symbol of this is Rodrigo, punished after hooking and injuring Yamanaka during FP3 before causing Suzuki to fall during Q2. The Gresini driver will therefore start from the pitlane and will also do a long lap in the race…

fenati hadn't experienced the joy of starting at the front of a starting grid since the 2017 British Grand Prix. Tatsuki suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse), long leader, had to resign himself to second place since the mobile clinic from which the hothead had sent him Rodrigo. His teammate Jeremy Alcoba (Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3) will be on the front row.

The second line is 100% KTM. She will be taken by James Masia (Red Bull KTM Ajo). The Spaniard will be accompanied by Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Tech3), the poleman of last week andAyumu Sasaki. The leader in the Championship Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) will occupy seventh position.

Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing), Stefano Nepa (BOE Owlride), one of the survivors of Q1 and Izan Guevara (SANTANDER Consumer GASGAS Aspar Team), who came first at the end of the FP3, complete the Top 10 that Sergio Garcia missed out since only 13th on the grid. French Lorenzo Fellon (SIC58 Squadra Corse) will be 22nd.

But before the race, there is this warm-up session. What will she have in store for us? Before knowing it, here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far.

The drivers will have 20 minutes to perfect the settings on their machines before the race which will take place at 11:00 a.m.

Suzuki will be present despite his fall caused yesterday by Rodrigo.

When Superbike meets Moto3, it looks like this...Toprak Razgatlioglu et Oncu!

It is Oncü which sets the reference time in 1.37.650s. He is ahead Salac, Toba, Guevara and Acosta.

farmhouse regains leadership with a lap time of 1.36.687s. Oncü, Sasaski, Acosta, Salac complete this top5.

But the Turk is tough as hell, he takes the lead again with his time of 1.36.371s. Behind Binder went on the offensive by taking 2nd position, McPhee, Masia, Sasaki, Garcia, Foggia, Acosta, Rossi and Salac bring up the rear of the top10.

A victory for fenati this week-end?

End of session and it's Oncü who pulls the chestnuts out of the fire with his time of 1.36.181s. Foggia, Sasaki, Fenati and Garcia bring up the rear of the top5.
