After one somewhat unfortunate experience, a classic, but effective press release, summarizes the presentation of the Moto3 BOÉ SKX team during an event sponsored by Jorge Lorenzo.

It is therefore in Murcia that the BOÉ SKX team of José Ángel Gutiérrez Boé officially launched its sporting project for the 3 Moto2022 season, based on David Muñoz et Ana Carrasco.

Throughout the winter, José Ángel Gutiérrez Boé and his team carefully prepared for this new season, a year full of ambitions and big goals.

José Ángel Gutiérrez Boé: « It's very nice to see how this project has grown. Ana returns to the team where she was in 2015, with a very difficult start. When we started the world championship adventure with Ana Carrasco, we experienced many difficulties. She broke her collarbone early on, but she arrived in Qatar saying she was fine, warmed up and went out on the track… Then she crashed again and broke her shoulder , but she pursued her dream, she even managed to become world champion. She taught me a big lesson. I also continued with the team in the face of all the difficulties that were thrown our way... Today we have a great project thanks to the work that everyone has done, with a super nice structure. We also have the opportunity to work with David Muñoz, a very young rider who has shown us his great motivation, hunger and talent, so we have full confidence in him. We believe we can fight for the world championship in the medium term. »

Just after carrying out the first pre-season tests, the two official BOÉ SKX drivers were present to discover the new designs and give their vision of the team's sporting project.

Ana Carrasco: « I am very happy with the team, we are working very well and we are progressing little by little. I'm very excited about the project and being able to return to Moto3 after such a long time. My goal is always to do my best. I'm very excited and I want to do very well. Being a world champion was my life's dream, it was something I had been chasing since I got on a motorcycle. Today it gives me a lot of confidence, all the experience I bring with me will help me take advantage of this opportunity. »

David Munoz: « I am very happy to be here. This year we have a great opportunity in front of us, the project is strong, beautiful and I want to thank everyone who allowed me to participate in it. I think this is a golden opportunity that not everyone has and we need to take advantage of it. »

Gerard Riu, who will replace Muñoz in the first six races of the season, was also present.

Gerard Riu: « It was a surprise to be here. I was the last incorporation and I want to thank everyone who made this possible. I'm very motivated to have a good season, I'm grateful and I can't wait to get started. My goal for these first races is to learn as much as possible and have fun. »

Jorge Lorenzo, a loyal partner of the team thanks to his involvement in Skull Rider, also joined the presentation. The five-time world champion sponsored the event, in which he showed all his confidence and support to the BOÉ SKX teams in the World Championship and Cardoso SKX (in JuniorGP).

The evening was also an opportunity to present SKX, the new Skull Rider Protocol project, an initiative which intends to take advantage of the advantages of blockchain within the auto/motorcycle industry. The Skull Rider Protocol is an ecosystem designed to reinvent the interaction between sport and its community. This project aims to provide a protocol that brings fans together by allowing them to engage in their favorite sport while having fun through the “Play 2 Earn” initiative and its approach to decentralized finance. All this, in an environment that intends to support the sport and the young talents who are fighting to find a place in the motorcycling elite.
