The GASGAS hit the gas at the start of the Moto3 version of the Catalan Grand Prix marked by FP1 on Friday morning. Indeed, the weekend could not have started better for the Solunion GASGAS Aspar team since it was Sergio García (Solunion GASGAS Aspar Team) and Izan Guevara (Solunion GASGAS Aspar Team) who took the first two places in the inaugural session almost Barcelona.
Filip Salac (Rivacold Snipers Team) inherited the third time, just ahead John McPhee (Petronas Sprinta Racing) and Gabriel Rodrigo (Indonesian Racing Team Gresini), freshly rewarded with a podium at Mugello.
Two Italians were in their wake: Romano Fenati (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) and Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing), which has just returned to victory. James Masia (Red Bull KTM Ajo), Niccolo Antonelli (Avintia Esponsorama Moto3) and Stefano Nepa (BOE Owlride) completed the Top 10.
For its part, Peter Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo), still firmly at the head of the Championship, set the 20th time, two positions ahead of our tricolor Lorenzo Fellon (SIC58 Squadra Corsica). There is no doubt that there is better to do for the KTM official in this FP2.

28.2° in the air and 37° on the track are the conditions offered to drivers for this 40-minute exercise. the sky is overcast, but nothing threatening. Entrance Deniz Oncu at turn 2 then izdihar at turn 13 fall. The first by losing the rear and the second by losing the front.

holgado crash at turn 8 after ten minutes of racing. Meanwhile, it is Rodrigo in 1'49.2454 which holds the first reference, in front of Fenati, Nepa et Suzuki. Migno closes the provisional top 5. Halfway through the session, the majority of the field returns to the box.
The last quarter of an hour therefore promises to be the final charge. Suzuki et Antonelli take advantage of this to enter the leading trio, but without yet worrying Rodrigo, always in charge.

Lorenzo Fellon is 14th. The last five minutes have begun. the famous groups that Deniz Oncu called for no longer to be reconstituted… The Turk took to the track again.

Under the checkered flag, the Argentinian regained his position in 1'47.950. He is the only one under the 1'48 lap mark. Darryn binder follows and advances Fenati, Guevara et Sasaki. Acosta is 13th, ahead McPhee, last of the top 14 qualifying for Q2. Lorenzo Fellon 24e.
