Moto3 is evolving, and this is further confirmed with the FP in Catalonia. Since the start of the season, one driver in particular has distinguished himself with a certain grandeur. His name: David Alonso, driver for CFMoto Aspar Team. The Colombian, in his second year, has already won three times this season, in Qatar, in the United States as well as at Le Mans two weeks ago. Blocking his path seems difficult, but Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GasGas Tech3), winner in Portugal, is still ahead in the general classification due to his outstanding consistency. He does everything he can to keep him at bay. Behind, the competitors are struggling to assert themselves, even if Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) also stood out at Jerez. Ivan Ortola (KTM MT Helmets MSi) and José Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) remain serious contenders. Here is how the hierarchy is arranged a few hours before a race that we hope is incredible in Catalonia.
So, even if you already know the result of this session, Come relive it with us in the comments! Before we begin, here is a table which summarizes the known facts:

Collin Veijer is precisely the first to record a fast time, while Noah Dettwiler (KTM CIP Green Power) finds the path to the gravel. David Alonso, again, does not take long to respond. All the favorites are there, except Daniel Holgado but this is undoubtedly only a question of time.
👊 @CollinVeijer95 has taken top spot!

Angel Piqueras (Honda Leopard Racing) falls in turn. David Alonso, always him, drives the point home but does not distance himself from his competitors as he was able to do in Jerez or in the USA. Daniel Holgado, who struggled here last year, is unable to rise to the level of the best.
A few improvements in quick succession! 🔥

Ivan Ortola is also there, as always. The session is calmer than ever, but as a reminder, the results do not count for qualifying. Ivan Ortola is the first to panic the times, with this tiny 1'47 which makes him beat the lap record!
Breaking records early! 🔨

More David Alonso is also able to improve. He passes in 1'46! Incredible, but who can stop this man? holgado, on the other hand, is nowhere, in 21st place. In the end, the championship leader finished more than two seconds behind leader David Alonso! Amazing. The Colombian continues his unparalleled domination. He is ahead Ivan Ortola et Jose Antonio Rueda, who seems to have returned well following his health problems.
