The Brazilian driver set the best time at the end of the last free practice session of this Spanish GP, ahead of Izan Guevara and David Salvador.

Moto3 resumed its rights this Saturday morning on the Jerez circuit with the holding of the third and final free practice session. With particularly pleasant temperatures, with 15°C in the air and 18°C on the track, the driving conditions were ideal for perfecting the adjustment of the quarter-liters in preparation for the qualifying session which will be a little closer. late in the day, from 12:35 p.m.

Yesterday, it was Izan Guevara who was the fastest in the category with a time during FP2 of 1'46.341. The two leaders of the championship, Sergio Garcia and Dennis Foggia, had a rather calm first day, which they finished in 11th and 13th positions respectively, with several falls recorded in the case of Garcia, visibly in difficulty. on his land.

In the French camp we are also looking gloomy, with the withdrawal for the rest of the weekend of Lorenzo Fellon, victim of a heavy fall yesterday at the end of FP2 in turn 11. After a visit to the Clinica Mobile, the young Avignon native had to withdraw, suffering from a dislocation of his right shoulder. We hope that he will be back on his feet for the next round, which will take place at Le Mans in mid-May.

Remember that the 14 drivers best classified in combined times at the end of these FP3 are transferred directly to Q2 for this afternoon's qualifying session (four other places also being allocated to participate in the second part of qualifying at the end of Q1).

Guevara therefore began this third and final free practice session of the weekend by once again taking control of the timesheet, still with a time in the low 1'46s. The Spaniard held the lead for a good part of the 40 minutes of driving, before being dislodged by Sergio Garcia, finally back in business.

But it was ultimately Diogo Moreira who created the surprise by setting the best time of the session in 1'45.736, ahead of Guevara by two thousandths, while David Salvador took third place ahead of Dennis Foggia and Denis Öncü. We then find in sixth place the winner of the inaugural round, Andrea Migno, ahead of Jaume Masiá. Sergio Garcia, for his part, must be content with ninth position, behind Ryusei Yamanaka.

Finally, we can note the mechanical problem suffered by Stefano Nepa, which forced the Italian to dismount during the session, while Scott Ogden for his part suffered a fall in the final minutes.
