The Moto3 race in Indonesia has just given its verdict! This time again, it is David Alonso who wins the big prize. This will undoubtedly allow him to continue this overseas tour with the greatest possible confidence. Before the start, it was difficult to identify a favorite. Certainly, Ivan Ortola (KTM MT Helmets MSi) started from pole position, but like the Red Bull KTM Ajo pair of Xabi Zurutuza and José Antonio Rueda, he had been given a double long lap penalty for being too slow during the practice sessions. So, perhaps the danger would come from Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP), second on the grid, or Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team Asia), third. David Alonso (CFMoto Aspar Team), the clear leader of the world championship, started fifth, while Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GasGas Tech3) had to make up a good ten places to win. Honda was particularly fast, so the Leopard Racing duo of Adrian Fernandez and Angel Piqueras could not be ruled out of the final battle.
You already know the result of the race? It doesn't matter, come and relive it with us! Before we begin, here is a table that summarizes the known facts:

Taiyo Furusato achieves the holeshot, whileIvan Ortola slides into fourth position. Collin Veijer et Adrian Fernandez, very fast, take command after a small error by the Japanese.
Veijer has a small advantage over Fernandez, whileIvan Ortola takes the first of his two long laps in the second round. He comes out 16th.
Changes at the top already! 🔄@CollinVeijer95 hits the front and leads @31AdriFernandez and @Taiyofurusato72 🤯#IndonesianGP ️ pic.twitter.com/CJk9I13zmH

Threatening for a few rounds, Adrian Fernandez takes command, but Veijer does not let itself be done. We note a double fall, of Philip Farioli (Honda Sic58 Squadra Corsica) and David Almansa (Honda Snipers Team). David Alonso, he, fourth, prowls. Daniel Holgado makes a small mistake that sees him slip to ninth place. The Spaniard is still very fast and has started a comeback from 14th place on the grid.
A great comeback in the making for @daniholgado96 from 14th! 📈
He's set the fastest lap and he's potentially in the fight for the win 👌#IndonesianGP ️ pic.twitter.com/okAVGNMSWe

Here he is already sixth. In front, Veijer leads solidly. A group of ten drivers broke away at the front, with, behind Veijer, Adrian fernandez et David AlonsoIt would be foolish to rule the Colombian out of the running for victory. Daniel Holgado has moved up to fourth place, can he achieve this feat? Ivan Ortola, who had moved up to eleventh, was given a third long lap penalty for exceeding track limits.
In front, an astonishing Tatsuki suzuki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) takes second place, while Collin Veijer explodes! What a fall from the Dutchman! It's the end of his title chances, that's for sure. Let's hope he's okay. Adrian fernandez manages to regain first place, just ahead Daniel Holgado.
OH DEAR! @CollinVeijer95 IS DOWN! 💥💥💥@31AdriFernandez now leads @daniholgado96 and @TatsukiSuzuki24 (I.e.#IndonesianGP ️ pic.twitter.com/hwaHXZeQEn

With seven rounds to go, anything is still possible. Even David Munoz (KTM Boé Motorsports) can still impose itself. A few laps later, Adrian Fernandez has dug a small gap, but nothing certain. Just saying that is enough to make him lose his head to the benefit of Daniel Holgado. Then it's the turn of David Alonso ! What a crazy race.
The Colombian immediately managed to open up a small gap. Meanwhile, Furusato, who is still fighting for victory, almost falls to the ground. This small mistake is followed by a fall that eliminates him from the race at the checkered flag!
An aggressive move on @daniholgado96 resulting in a crash 😱@Taiyofurusato72 is OUT of contention with 3 laps remaining 💥💔#IndonesianGP ️ pic.twitter.com/coeKDHTEjF

Pay attention to Luca Lunetta (Honda Sic58 Squadra Corsica), who now takes the lead, but not for long. With two rounds to go, advantage Adrian Fernandez. Only one more round to go! Who's going to do it?
So many with a chance of winning this ⚔️@31AdriFernandez got past Lunetta to start the penultimate lap as the race leader 🔥#IndonesianGP ️ pic.twitter.com/I5JUBeWCNs

Alonso positions himself, but David munoz holds him back for a few moments. Fernandez holds firm… but must hand over command to the Aspar pilot. Finally, at the end of the suspense, David Alonso still imposes itself, just ahead Adrian fernandez et David munoz ! Angel Piqueras is fourth, followed by Luca Lunetta. What a crazy race!

This 13th victory allows him to equal Romano Fenati in the number of Moto3 victories, while it is only his second season! The misfortunes of his teammates (Daniel Holgado only finished sixth, Ivan Ortola ninth after three long lapses and abandonment of Collin Veijer) means that David Alonso will have a first match ball in a week, in Motegi.
