Before this stage in Indonesia, at the Qatar Grand Prix, Andrea Migno won for the second time in what was his 134th start in Moto3, with the Italian team in 2017. Between his first victory and this one Now, 4 years and 275 days have passed. The VR46 academic also became the second oldest rider to lead the Moto3 World Championship after our own Alexis Masbou, who was 27 years and 300 days after the 2015 Qatar Grand Prix…

The victory of Migno is the 80th for Honda in Moto3. The Japanese manufacturer leads the way ahead of KTM with 78 victories in this category. Andrea Migno, who won both on KTM and on Honda in Moto3, stands out again in this statistic by being the 12th Moto3 rider to win with two (or more) different manufacturers in the category and the eighth with Honda and KTM. The record is set by Roman Fenati with four wins for FTR – Honda, KTM, Honda and Husqvarna.

Sergio Garcia crossed the line in second position at the Qatar Grand Prix and for the second time in a row after last year's Valencia Grand Prix, marking his 11th Moto3 podium so far, tying Jaume Masiá and Niccolò Antonelli.

At the same race in Losail, Kaito Toba finished third for his fourth Moto3 podium, one per season since 2019, and Deniz Oncu finished fourth for his best result since his second place at the Aragón Grand Prix last year. Izan Guevara, who qualified on pole, had to start from the back of the grid after a penalty but finished eighth, marking his 12th consecutive race in the points, a streak that began in Germany last year.

The Moto3 race of the Indonesian Grand Prix will be the 900e of the history of the light category (125cc/Moto3). What will this event have in store for us on a Mandalika route now known to all the protagonists? Before answering this question, here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far.
