It's time for Moto3 qualifying in Indonesia. The least we can say is that this championship is close. Every session counts, none should be neglected, and even less a race for pole. And finally, it was Diogo Moreira who got the best out of his machine during this game. The favorites were quite numerous, but identified. Jaume Masia (Honda Leopard Racing) on one side, as the new championship leader, Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3 on the other, the one who occupied this place before. Behind, Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo), the previous track record holder.

Even if you already know the poleman, come and relive this session with us! Before we begin, here are the facts known so far:

Q1 begins with a correct time ofAdrian Fernández (Honda Leopard Racing), the one who replaces at short notice Tatsuki suzuki. Pay attention, above all, to Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) in this group, the speed of which we know from Austria. He also took the best time on his second attempt. The team Honda Team Asia de Mario Aji et Taiyo Furusato (who has made it out of all Q1 this year) is also very prominent.

The session is relatively calm, but it is worth noting the good performance of Joshua Whatley (Honda VisionTrack Racing). Eventually, Taiyo Furusato finished first in this session. The other qualifiers are Collin Veijer, Adrian Fernández and the young Joshua Whatley, for the first time in Q2 of his career.

Here we go for a Q2 which promises to be explosive. During the first round, Diogo Moreira achieves the best time. We had already seen him in his legs on Friday, and he remains a poison despite his drop in form at the start of the season. Even though it was only his first attempt, Diogo Moreira set the bar quite high in the small '39. This morning, James Masia went down in '38 during P3 but will he be able to repeat the feat?

The situation got out of hand two minutes from the end. Scott Ogden (Honda VisionTrack Raicng) flies into the Indonesian air, and causes a yellow flag. The last one everything is launched. No one is under the Brazilian's time in the first sector, which could be synonymous with pole. Ultimately, Masia can't improve! It is therefore Diogo Moreira who wins, thanks to his first attempt, which is far from common in the most competitive of categories. This is the first pole of the season for him.
