Deniz Oncu was also the fastest during the third and final free practice session of the Moto3 class Italian Grand Prix, sixth round of the 2023 World Championship scheduled for the Mugello track. The Red Bull Ajo Team rider set the best time in 1'56.175, finishing ahead of Diogo Moreira on KTM MT Helmets – MSI and world leader Daniel Holgado, separated by 0.367s and 0.516s respectively.

Ayumu Sasaki on the Husqvarna of Team Intact GP is fourth, ahead Matthew Bertelli (Honda Snipers) and Riccardo rossi (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse) James Masia with the Honda of Team Leopard is seventh, ahead of the GASGAS of Team Aspar of David Alonso and the CFMoto of Xavier Artigas. Tatsuki suzuki closes the Top Ten with the second Honda Leopard.
