Without handlebars since July, the Belgian rider hopes to be able to bounce back in 2019, but does not want to do so at any cost.

The season of Livio Law was nevertheless a bearer of hope on the eve of the first Grand Prix in Qatar. After having had his best season last year with the Leopard Racing team, he joined the Avintia Reale Moto3 KTM team for a new adventure. Unfortunately, apart from a tenth place in the United States as well as a fifteenth place in Argentina and Barcelona, the Belgian driver never managed to get into the points.

The day after the Assen Grand Prix, he only occupied twenty-sixth place in the Championship with eight points. His team then did not wish to continue with him and replaced him with the young Vicente Pérez from the Sachsenring.

Without handlebars since, Livio Loi was last weekend in Misano to try to find a team for 2019, as he confided to speedweek : “I'm looking for options to race in the Moto3 World Championship in 2019. I'm talking to a few teams, but if I don't find one that believes in me and my skills, I won't do another season in the Moto3 World Championship . I want to join a team where I can develop my abilities and which allows me to fight for victory, or at least better results. »

The Belgian driver could, if necessary, turn to another Championship such as the Supersport 300 or the Supersport 600.
