It is with Jaume Masia in pole position that this French Grand Prix will start near Le Mans around 11:20 a.m. The Spaniard, in trouble with a Leopard team that he will leave at the end of this season after only one year, has the opportunity to leave with his head held high with, for example, a victory. Indeed, the last time that the Valencian had accomplished such a feat was at the Argentine Grand Prix a year ago, and that weekend, the No. 5 triumphed…

Otherwise, farmhouse made short work of the Bugatti's previous track record to claim a second pole, under the nose and beard ofAlbert Arenas. The latter failed only 20 thousandths behind his compatriot. The Catalan still carried out a great operation, to the extent that the leader of the championship Ai Ogura was trapped on his exit turn. In other words, the Japanese will not have recorded any time and will therefore start from 18th position.

John mcphee came to dislodge Raul Fernandez of the first line on the wire. The Madrilenian thus sees himself pushed back to the second row in the company of Sergio Garcia and Gabriel Rodrigo. Tony Arbolino for its part inherits seventh place. Ayumu Sasaki, Roman Fenati et Celestino Vietti.

But this Sunday is race day, and everything has to be done again. To warm up, here is the Warm Up, a warm-up session which deserves its name given the autumn conditions offered to the pilots... Here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far...
