Together, team and driver achieved three victories, ten podiums, three pole positions and nine fastest laps in the race. The Spaniard is also a contender for the title this year and occupies fifth place in the Championship.

Canet gone, it's the young Sergio García, 15 years old, who will take his place. Currently among the top four of the CEV within the team's junior structure, the time has come for him to make the big leap into the World Cup.

He will have his former CEV teammate at his side, Alonso lopez, who continues a second year with the team. After a first learning season in the World Championship, he will be ready to move up a level by getting closer to the top of the rankings.

Emilio Alzamora, Team manager: “It is a satisfaction to announce the arrival of Sergio García to our team in the Moto3 World Championship. As we have done since the start of his career with us in 2015, we will put all our experience and resources at the service of his development as a professional driver. Both Sergio García and Alonso López are two drivers who have a lot to learn, but who also have great potential in the World Cup given what they have already shown so far.
We will continue to fight for the podium and victory until the end of this season with Arón Canet. In three years at the World Cup, we supported and trained him to achieve his first pole, his first podium and his first victory. We therefore believe that now is the time to give a new trajectory to our project. »
