The Moto3 version of the Malaysian Grand Prix got off to a timid start this morning at Sepang due to a track with still some damp spots. But the bitumen dries quickly in these latitudes and it is then the one who has switched to slick tires at the right time and who has taken advantage of them in the last moments who has taken the lead in a meeting which has thus experienced its beginnings. In this game, Migno did the best in front of Canet and the new World Champion Dalla Porta. Arbolino and Masiá, who is celebrating his 20th birthday, close the top 5 of this FP1.

What will this FP2 give us which will mark the end of this Friday day in Malaysia? Before answering this question, here is the table which summarizes the facts…

33° in the air and 59° on the track are the conditions offered to the pilots for 40 minutes of exercise which promises to be exhausting. Sasaki who fell this morning and who had been evacuated on a stretcher is operational.

The first reference is signed by Canet and 2'14.345 ahead Arbolino et Suzuki. Sasaki, Petronas driver, definitely reassures his state of form by passing in front thanks to a 2'13.331 after ten minutes of battle. Canet et Arenas follow under the 2'14 per lap mark.

McPhee, the second Petronas driver, the local colors, is seventh. The World Champion Dalla Porta is only 23rd at mid-session. But he puts things back in place by then taking the fourth beat by curling the mustache of Booth-Amos...
