Dennis Foggia set the best time during the first free practice session of the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini, 14th stage of the 2022 World Championship. At the Misano circuit named after the late Marco Simoncelli, the Team Leopard driver stopped the clock in 1'42.442, ahead of Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna Max Racing Team) ahead of only 56 thousandths, author of a splendid victory at the Red Bull Ring despite two long lap penalties.
Third and fourth beats for Izan Guevara (GasGas Aspar) and Carlos Tatay (CFMoto PruestelGP), who are ahead of the rookie Diogo Moreira (KTM MT Helmets – MSI), Riccardo rossi (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Japanese Kaito Toba (KTM CIP).
The Top Ten is closed by Tatsuki suzuki (Honda Leopard), Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM MT Helmets – MSI) and Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech 3). Good performance for Nicholas Fabio Carraro (who replaces the injured Matteo Bertelle on the KTM of Team Avintia) 14th time.
