Discontent is mounting in the Moto3 paddock, and if almost everyone agrees to criticize the penalties imposed this weekend after qualifying 2 by the FIM MotoGP stewards, for the moment few of them have taken up their pen to write it down !

However, in line withHervé Poncharal, Paolo Simoncelli continues his habit of sharing what he thinks…

I could say a lot of things about this weekend, like talking about the thousand adversities that we have to face at each Grand Prix to get to the race…. But today I want you to know what was invented by the race management, the head of which is still my friend Freddie Spencer.

They decided to give a penalty of 1€ to me and other teams: They think that we put the drivers on the track, all together on purpose, 000 minutes before the end of qualifying, creating a traffic jam, the same which happens at the start of the race, when they all start together. I also don't like this spectacle that we offer to the public, where all the pilots wait for the strongest to take their aspiration, but for the moment there is no rule that prohibits you from leaving the box whenever you want. Maybe the riders could be punished, but not the team. In such a difficult moment, when we are spending 60/70.000€ on PCR tests between the CEV and the Moto3 World Championship, (which is already questionable), they have decided to also add this unfair fine from the race direction...

In their offices, they are super helpful, nothing to say, they listen to advice and seem to share your opinion except that in the end, they do like all children, as soon as you turn your back on them, they do what they want . They are now the most discussed trio in the paddock for their irrefutable decisions, with which they do nothing other than corroborate our theses about their insane decisions. And even if they sometimes realize that they were wrong, they never retrace their steps, but imperturbably continue on their way. Fantastic !

The only rule that can prevent traffic jams, in my opinion, is to have drivers exit the pits within 5 seconds of each other or do the hated superpole.
I've said too much, but it's absurd and it breaks my already fragile nerves.

I imagine you all saw the race. Nothing to say, except that Tatsuki should not have been there in 8th position, his place is among the first where the percentage of being involved in an accident is lower, that's what I think. That's the only mistake he made.

With Fellon we took a new path, we saw the first improvements and now we will progress step by step.

Now it's time to fly to Estoril to enjoy the CEV, hopefully it will be a good weekend, with our fight team. Someone might think that I'm boring, that I always have something to say, about the rules, about the people... Well, they're right, but it would be even more boring otherwise... With the classic, formal press releases and not colored!!!
