Moto3 Qatar P3

Time for the second day for the continuation of hostilities. The P3 Moto3 promises to be exciting in Qatar. Indeed, yesterday, Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) et James Masia (Honda Leopard Racing) were at the top of the rankings after P1 and P2. Remember that Jaume Masia and Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) are competing for the world championship, and that the latter is far from being awarded; every session counts. At the end of Friday, we also found Diogo Moreira (KTM MT Helmets Msi), still at the forefront, as well as Romano Fenati (Honda Snipers Team). In Losail, as elsewhere, this 19th round of the championship promises to be absolutely exciting. But who will manage to qualify directly for Q2? Answer in a few moments!

Even if you already know the outcome of this session, come relive it with us! But before we begin, here is a table which presents the known facts:

Let's go to Losail! The weather is always good in Qatar, as expected. This session promises to be decisive for the Grand Prix, on the one hand, but also for the championship.

Quickly, the usual suspects rank first, apart from Jaume Masia, who prefers to wait. But always, with Roman Fenati in front ! Incredible, last night's P2 wasn't just a one-off episode. Can the Italian take a surprise victory to save his season?

Then, it's Deniz Oncu, already in sight during the first session, which improves the best mark. Note the very good performance of Vicente Perez, replacingAna Carrasco in KTM Boé Motorsports. He is well established in the top 5, while the times are only improving. We are already in 2'06, while the very first session of the weekend ended with a 2'09 as the best time!

Finally, Jaume Masia joins the top, as expected.

Ayumu Sasaki is currently in Q2, but only in 13th position! He needs to do better to secure a top spot later today. After an attack, he ranks fourth. Phew! Daniel Holgado et David Alonso are much further away. Then, Ayumu Sasaki, on his own, improves again and ranks second.

The " Crazy boy » has not said its last word in this title race! Then, it's Daniel Holgado who takes the best time in this P3! He came back from nowhere, even if the title undoubtedly escaped him at Sepang. It's not over, everyone is pushing for Q2.

Deniz Oncu returns to the lead, but everyone must complete a lap. And no one seems to be able to catch him! A few laps are canceled, but the Turk is not worried! But David Alonso, out of nowhere, ranks second. What a trick from the rookie. Daniel Holgado is third, and all the favorites are in Q2.
