Jaume Masiá (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #5) takes off on the third day of the test in Qatar, with a time well below the absolute record. Dennis Foggia (Honda, Leopard Racing, #7) and rookies Pedro Acosta (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo, #37) and Izan Guevara (GasGas, Gaviota Aspar Team, #28) were also in the spotlight.

KTM was on the attack on the last day of testing at Losail. More precisely, Jaume Masia who posted the best overall time of the three days, and it was a time well short of the overall record. Behind him continues to surprise the rookie and his new teammate Peter Acosta, while third place is for Dennis Foggia followed by the other rookie to watch, Izan Guevara. Remember that the record for the best lap in a race is 2'05.403 printed by Roman Fenati in 2019, while the general record is 2'04.561 achieved by Arón Canet in 2019. Last year, the best lap during the GP was recorded in 2'05.788 thanks to Ai Ogura, and the 2020 Qatar tests ended with a 2'04.892 Filip Salač.

First session
A good start to the day for the Italian drivers. This is particularly the case for Dennis Foggia, 2nd on day 2 at Losail, who achieved the best time of the session, ahead of his compatriot Andrea Migno (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team, #16), followed by the rookies Xavier Artigas (Honda, Leopard Racing, #43) and Peter Acosta. Incomplete hierarchy however, since eight riders were stopped in the box in this first heat of the last day.

Second session
The 2020 Red Bull Rookies Cup champion continues to shine, with this second session being yet another demonstration. Peter Acosta takes the lead for the first time during these three days, with his teammate Jaume Masia 69 thousandths behind him and Nicolò Antonelli (KTM, Reale Avintia, #23) in third position. Times are even faster than in the aforementioned session, but we have yet to see the best of this final day. On this occasion, five drivers remain motionless in the pits.

Third session
As we have seen in previous days, the last session is the fastest. In fact, let's say that we actually see the best times of the test, benchmarks that are below the track records. Jaume Masia, in particular, set a record time of 2'04.263. Three tenths behind him is his box companion Peter Acosta, while Dennis Foggia raises the Italian flag in third position in front of another rookie, Izan Guevara. It's the end of the tests and the serious things will begin next Friday with the first free practices of 2021.
