Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 will now lead the red charge in two Grand Prix classes for 2024. The team has added the Moto3s of Daniel Holgado and Jacob Roulstone to support the MotoGP™ ofAugusto Fernandez et Peter Acosta for the next racing season.
GASGAS has achieved Grand Prix victories over the past three years in Moto3 and throughout his time on the grid in the captivating and exciting MotoGP entry class. The Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team will look to continue their momentum in 2024. The team celebrated its own successes in 2022 and 2023 and helped two drivers finish in the top five in the championship twice.
Directed by Hervé Poncharal and composed of Daniel Holgado, title contender, and the promising Australian rookie Jacob Roulstone, the new GASGAS Moto3 wing brings a promising mix of experience and speed for the upcoming campaign. The team ranked 6th out of 14 teams in 2023, with seven podium finishes, and intends to do even more when they wear the red jersey!
Daniel Holgado: “I am very happy to represent the GASGAS brand in Moto3, and my goal is to take these new colors to the top in 2024. We have two important pre-season tests to find a solid set-up of the bike in order to approach this new season in the best possible way. Our goal this year is to win. I know it won't be easy, but with work and dedication we can do it. GAS! »
Jacob Roulstone: “Our colors in 2024 look great and I’m really excited to be part of this new partnership between Red Bull, GASGAS and Tech3. Since the Valencia test in November, I've been keen to get back with the team on the new bike, so I'm happy the time has finally come. I've been training a lot this winter, on and off the track, in Australia and Spain, so I'm completely ready. The next two tests will be very important for us, we will go step by step and our goal is to improve session after session. I know that I will be surrounded by a very good team to help me. I can't wait to hit the gas! »
Hervé Poncharal : “In 2024, our Moto3 team becomes the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team. We are very proud to become the official standard bearer of the young and exciting GASGAS brand in MotoGP and Moto3. Our strong partnership with Red Bull will continue and we are also very pleased to welcome MOTUL as an official oil partner. Daniel Holgado will lead our team in 2024, after making us dream last year with an incredible season, taking three victories and a few other podiums. I know Dani will be even stronger in 2024 and always wants more. Alongside him we have exciting Australian recruit, Jacob Roulstone, who joined us during the Valencia test in November. He had a positive first day with the team and I know he will take advantage of the Portimao and Jerez tests to arrive prepared and ready for his first season in Moto3.
