Tony Arbolino (Rivacold Snipers Team) topped the Moto3 overall standings on day one of the myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich, his FP1 time enough to keep him ahead after rain interrupted the action in the middle of FP2. John McPhee (Petronas Sprinta Racing) finished the day in second place overall, but three tenths behind. Jaume Masia (Leopard Racing) takes third place, just a few hundredths behind the Scot.
This Saturday will be decisive for the places on the starting grid. This morning FP3 in Austria is the last chance for the protagonists to enter a top 14 which is synonymous with automatic participation in Q2. While waiting to jump into the fray, here are the latest facts observed…

It is Migno who sets the reference time in 1.47.298s ahead of Ogura et Oncü. Very quickly Garcia takes control with a time of 1.44.910s after 17 minutes of session. Migno regains his good, hanging a lap time of 1.44.263s in front Vietti and Alcoba.
