Five months after his victory in Indonesia, Dennis Foggia returned to the top step of the podium at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix.

The Leopard Racing team's Rocket, however, did not have an easy time starting from 7th position on the grid, but the Roman knew how to lead his boat, or rather his Honda, to take command in the eighth of the 17 rounds of the event.

However, nothing was gained with a group as compact as it is aggressive of 14 pilots, including 8 in less than a second: overtaking, re-overtaking and risky maneuvers were on the program at every turn, so much so that Dennis Foggia was relegated to 7th position with 3 laps to go.

But, without panicking, the 21-year-old young man recovered little by little before starting the last loop in 5th position then doing a final, legendary lap which saw him cross the finish line with more than 2 tenths. ahead of his pursuers: almost an eternity in this category!

Already 3rd in the championship before the British round, the Italian takes advantage of his 8th victory and the abandonment of the two leaders to reduce his gap from 67 to 42 points in the championship.

Dennis Foggia : " This is an incredible victory! It's an incredible feeling. I've been trying to get it since last in Indonesia. Today we had a super crazy ride, and you never knew what was going to happen. A big thank you to the team, my family and everyone who supports me. »
