The British Grand Prix is in full swing at Silverstone; the action continues with the P2 Moto3 this Saturday morning. Until now, domination was shared between two men. David Alonso (CFMoto Aspar Team), who needs no introduction, winner of six races so far, crashed the first session. Afterwards, during P1, the Dutchman Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) broke the record previously set by the Colombian. Veijer remains a danger overall, but no more than Ivan Ortola (KTM MT Helmets MSi) or Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GasGas Tech3), interesting outsiders. To be continued, therefore, with P2 straight away then qualifying later in the day.

Even if you already know the outcome of this session, come relive it with us! Before we begin, here is a table which summarizes the known facts:

The weather is still good this Saturday morning, even if the sky is cloudy. Here we go for a P2 which promises to be spicy!

Ivan Ortola quickly climbs into the lead, which confirms its good form. He is followed by his teammate Ryusei Yamanaka, with whom he often works. David Alonso is more discreet, but it should not be underestimated. Joel Esteban (CFMoto Aspar Team), ultimately quite discreet since the start of the season, is also there.

Times are tight, and the leader changes often. Just now, Stefano Nepa (Honda LEVELUP MTA) takes the best option, but it might not last. Seven minutes from the end, everyone is in the box, and everyone is waiting until the last moment to get out, in order to complete a timed lap and not one more.

Who will be the smartest to benefit from the best suction? That remains to be seen. Joel Kelso (KTM Boé Motorsports) leaves alone, without fear. David Alonso crosses the line with only seven seconds remaining! They will only have one turn to decide!

It is Ivan Ortola who is doing the best, just ahead Daniel Holgado et David Munoz (KTM Boé Motorsports). David Alonso has relaxed his efforts, and he is only 17th but he will be in Q2 thanks to his time yesterday. Well, that's what we thought! ortola is downgraded for yellow flag infraction, which passes Daniel Holgado on your mind. The top 3 changes completely with the round cancellations, Angel Piqueras (Honda Leopard Racing) and Joel Kelso are now second and third.

David munoz will therefore have to go through Q1 at the start of the afternoon!
