Moto3 Silverstone P3

The competitors in the Moto3 field are preparing for P3, the final free practice session always planned early on Saturday morning. To hope to gain confidence before qualifying, drivers will have to be wary of the extremely low temperatures this weekend near Silverstone. Several were trapped, including one of the favorites Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP). The first day was not full of lessons, and it is always difficult to see clearly. During P1, Ivan Ortolá (KTM Angeluss MTA Team) achieved the best time, but he was supplanted by Jaume Masiá (Honda Leopard Racing) during P2. The Hondas are working, but we still have to keep an eye on the main KTM riders, namely Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and the current championship leader Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3).

Today, downpours of water fell on the circuit, with many surprises. Relive the third practice session with us! But first, here is a summary table so you don't miss anything from previous events:

The rain is falling on the Silverstone circuit for this P3! As in 2018, downpours of water prevented the drivers from completing even the slightest significant lap. The young wolves are shy, don't really dare to take to the trail and we understand them! Like yesterday, the two Honda Leopard Racing drivers stood out.

First through Jaume Masia, before he suffered a fall, then two! Besides, Daniel Holgado was also trapped. Clearly, the track is more than tortuous, and the weather predictions did not lie in the least yesterday.

Tatsuki suzuki, teammate of Jaume, specialist in these conditions (winner in Argentina in the rain), took first position and widened a gap of seven tenths of a second. What dedication. Although not pleasant for pilots, the rain makes for great images, especially through clear visors. Here Ayumu Sasaki in his works.

With five minutes remaining, the times accelerated even though the conditions did not improve. Xavi Artigas (CFMoto Prüstel Racing) is the first to draw, but be careful to Roman Fenati (Honda Snipers Team), also a great rain specialist. Note the interesting turns of Lorenzo Fellon (KTM CIP Green Power), ranked fifth for a long time, then first! Amazing !

While we might have believed in the feat, Ivan Ortolá steals the show and takes first position. the Frenchman is still fourth! The Spaniard, already first in P1, definitely places himself as one of the favorites this weekend, and shows that he is as comfortable underwater as in the dry.
