Moto3 Silverstone Race

As usual at Silverstone, the Moto3 race did not leave us indifferent. The drivers fought like hell, but in the end, it was Ivan Ortola who got the best of his opponents. It was not a foregone conclusion, because the weekend was rather competitive. He started perfectly for David Alonso (CFMoto Aspar Team) during the FP, but Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) had the powder talking during P1. Then, Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GasGas Tech3) set the best time in P2 on Saturday morning. Yet, despite everything, Ivan Ortola (KTM MT Helmets MSi) took pole position, with, almost every time, a new track record.

Even if you already know the result of this incredible round, come and relive it with us! Before we begin, here is a table which summarizes the known facts:

For this game, the weather is strange, with some very threatening clouds. The lights go out, and off we go !

Joel Kelso (KTM Boé Motorsports), started from the first row, came out of the first turns in the lead but the poleman Ivan Ortola Didn't get off to a bad start either. Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM MT Helmets MSi) is in the mix, but we must monitor the rise in David munoz (KTM Boé Motorsports) from the bottom of the grid. The Spaniard is progressing, but he and the rookie Jacob Roulstone (Red Bull GasGas Tech3) telescope! We have to start all over again. The Australian seems responsible, given that he receives a long penalty period. Kelso is far ahead of ortola, but nothing has been done yet. Behind, there is chaos. A fall ofAngel Piqueras (Honda Leopard Racing) results in the elimination of the duo Honda MLav Racing composed of the premises Scott Ogden and Vicente Perez.

In front of, Daniel Holgado woke up, he who can no longer afford to lose points against David Alonso, currently fifth. Stefano Nepa (KTM LEVELUP MTA) is also very fast; he multiplies high-class overtaking. The gaps are tiny, the race is fiercely contested. Only the absence of Collin Veijer of the lead stands out, as he has been ninth for quite a while now. Everything remains possible.

Daniel Holgado is well on his way, it's been a long time since we've seen him like this. Like he usually does, Adrian fernandez (Honda Leopard Racing) is very nervous in the first group. It would be stupid to forget David Alonso, who, even if he has not yet led this race, is still very well placed. Ivan Ortola regains first place Daniel Holgado with six rounds remaining.

Ivan Ortola is impressive in his head, he even manages to create a sort of safety mattress for himself. Collin Veijer woke up, he explodes and goes on the attack of Ortola. What a comeback from the Dutchman. Alonso et holgado bicker, but it serves the interests ofIvan Ortola, who is half a second ahead of his opponents.

Alonso takes control, and immediately, the Colombian stands out. Was he waiting for the bob moment? He almost misses as he attacks, which allows ortola to maintain oneself. We are heading towards a late explanation, without a doubt. ortola, who is celebrating his birthday today, can he give himself the best possible gift? For that, he will have to beat David Alonso, who is the only one who can prevent it with two rounds to go.

The last lap is crazy! Collin Veijer takes advantage of an error from Alonso to take control! Daniel Holgado has also infiltrated, it's more tense than ever. Alonso overtakes one, no, two competitors and only has Veijer in the viewfinder, with less than half a lap to go. But Ivan Ortola, with a huge maneuver in the final moments, manages to win the Grand Prix! What a crazy ride! David Alonso is second, just ahead Collin Veijer ! It all came down to nothing. Daniel Holgado is fourth, and precedes Stefano Nepa.
