As the team name already suggests, there are some innovations and developments in the Saxon Moto3 team from the former Racing Team Germany.

The owners of the racing team, Ingo and Florian Prüstel, as well as the new sporting director Dirk Reißmann, will present to the public the new driver duo consisting of the Czech Jakub Kornfeil and Italian Marco Bezzecchi, the latter also being the holder of Valentino Rossi's VR46 Riders Academy, which replaces the Finn Patrick Pulkkinen. After successful first tests in November with Marco Bezzecchi's 2017 KTM, the team is pleased to present the new Austrian motorcycles and give an overview of the very intense cooperation between KTM and PrüstelGP.

Despite the disappearance of the long-standing main sponsor, SAXOPRINT, and the occasional use of the PEUGEOT name, a solid and lasting basis could be built thanks to joint commitment with KTM, Redox and Prüstel, as well as with sponsors existing and new. With the increasing expansion of the group of sponsors from medium-sized companies, the PrüstelGP team is looking to the future. For Ingo and Florian Prüstel, this is a strategic approach to bring German drivers to the world championship from 2019.

In order to also support German motorsport, the PrüstelGP team has been working in the background for many months on a sustainable project for young talents. In 2017, a first grant agreement was signed with Freddie Heinrich and a season of the Spanish Championship (CEV) was completed. The support should continue in 2018 under the project name “PrüstelGP Academy”.

All PrüstelGP drivers and their championships will be presented at the Sachsenring on February 23.
