Un Danilo happy in the water, this is the verdict of a truncated first evening on the Losail route. A circuit which will host the inaugural Qatar Grand Prix of the 2017 season next week. We hope that the weather will be better than this Friday marked by rain which prevents any outing since Dunlop did not bring the tires suitable for the track wet. Our Frenchman, however, did not remain dry and delivered the challenge of these three days of testing.

To Jules Danilo, the issue is the fork. Speaking to MotoGP.com, he explains: “ This Friday we had to try new fork settings, in order to validate what we already had during the Jerez tests. But it was windy and the track was dirty. I went out anyway to do just one ride. The track was slippery a lot and then it started to rain.

Only one lap, so it's difficult to say anything about the bike. But for the next few days, conditions should be good. To feel something on the bike you have to go fast. We should be able to go down the times from Saturday and understand how the new fork works. We will see if it gives me good sensations in order to determine good settings for the race ».

Teammate of Roman Fenati, Jules Danilo was assigned this year by his team a regular ranking in the top 10.
