Darryn Binder (KTM, CIP – Green Power), credited with the 18th time at the end of FP3, was forced to compete in the repechage, in conditions which were far from obvious, since a light rain had once again invited just before the start of these qualifications. But the South African was able to bounce back perfectly to complete a lap in 1'38.286 and be in pole position for the first time in his career. A time that no one was able to beat, not even Kaito Toba (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo), failing in fact at 43 thousandths.

The representative of the CIP – Green Power team thus left with his very first pole, while Raul Fernandez (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo) inherited third place.

As the drivers returned to the circuit under bright sunshine, the air temperature was 18°C and the track temperature was 13°C.

Albert Arenas (KTM, Aspar Team Gaviota) could be crowned World Champion today if he wins the race and his main opponent, Ai Ogura (Honda, Honda Team Asia), did not do better than 13th.

Alonso lopez (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) set the first time, relatively shy, in 1'44.081. After the first flying lap of all the drivers, Barry Baltus (KTM, PruestlGP) is the fastest, in 1'42.323, followed by Tony Arbolino (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team) and gabriel rodrigo (Honda, Kömmerling Gresini Moto3). The drivers are taking their time to warm up this morning.

The Belgian driver's time will ultimately be canceled for having exceeded the limits of the track.

10 minutes from the checkered flag, Sergio Garcia (Honda, Estrella Galicia 0,0) leads in 1'40.743, ahead Tony Arbolino (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team) and Deniz Öncü (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3).

7 minutes from the end of the session, the times are panicking for all the drivers. Roman Fenati (Husqvarna, Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) is flashed in 1'39.914. The Italian driver gets angry on the next lap because he is hampered by drivers, and cannot achieve another fast lap. This benefits Raul Fernandez (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo) who in turn achieved a 1'39.596. Last week's winner seems hungry for victories.

Deniz Oncu (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3) is in great form this weekend and proves it by taking command, with a lap in 1'39.586. At the same time, Barry Baltus (KTM, PruestlGP) loses the front at turn 4. Khairul Idham Pawi (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing) also fell, without seriousness, at turn 6.

The final lap saw many drivers improve their times, and that's Ayumu Sasaki (KTM, Red Bull KTM Tech3) who took the lead in 1'39.511, followed by Tony Arbolino (Honda, Rivacold Snipers Team) and Celestine Vietti (KTM, Sky Racing Team VR46). Albert Arenas (KTM, Aspar Team Gaviota) is fifth.
