Moto3 Valencia P2

Here we go for the second of the last sessions of the season! The P2 Moto3, in Valencia, is anything but peaceful. And yet, the suspense is no longer since the Qatar Grand Prix; Jaume Masia (Honda Leopard Racing) has just been crowned world champion, but not without controversy. Indeed, although he did not suffer any penalties during the race, he was accused of having deliberately pushed his rival Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) off the track, in order to take the crown. worldwide. Given the level of the two contenders, we could well find them in front from this session. We must not omit Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Ajo), author of a fantastic comeback at Losail, or Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3), pole-sitter in Qatar but defeated in the race. David Alonso (GasGas Aspar Team), Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and Ivan Ortola (KTM Angeluss MTA Team) remain serious contenders for overall victory.

This morning, Daniel Holgado, once the championship leader, finished first in P1.

So, even if you already know the outcome of this session, come relive it with us! Before we begin, here is a table which summarizes the known facts:

Despite the late date of this round, the sun is still present in Valencia. Let's go for the last P2 Moto3 of the season.

Like this morning, David Alonso takes the lead, but is quickly joined by Diogo Moreira (KTM MT Helmets MSi), while Kaito Toba (Honda Sic58 Squadra Corsica) and Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team Asia) experience two minor falls. Deniz Oncu et Daniel Holgado, the fastest man of the morning, joined the top without delay.

But watch out for the huge highside for Deniz Oncu ! The Turk flies into the sky, and falls heavily. Ouch! He is totally stunned, just a few days away from becoming a Moto2 rider at Red Bull KTM Ajo. Let's hope he's not hurt. His fall caused the red flags to come out 22 minutes before the checkered flag was presented, in order to clear the track safely.

A few minutes later, it started again. But it's not possible ? David Alonso flies away in turn, in exactly the same place and in the same way as Deniz Oncu ! He gets up, as best he can. And yet, the mechanics bring the bike back, the Colombian is going to leave! Definitely not a good day to be marshal at turn 4. The worst part is that the two occupy the first two positions in the ranking. As a result, Collin Veijer takes the opportunity to interpose himself between the unfortunate people.

Joel Kelso (CFMoto Racing Prüstel GP) is also very fast, unlike his teammate Xavier Artigas, who is also on the ground. Deniz Oncu will he finish the session in front, even if he cannot defend his turn?

And now it's David munoz (KTM Boé Motorsports) who suffers a huge highside at the end of the round. This session is undermined!

Syarifuddin Azman (KTM MT Helmets MSi) fall in turn, but the session is stopped again because of a new fall in David Alonso andAyumu Sasaki, at the same location ! Impressive, what an eventful session! We don't really get the picture from afar, but Team Aspar's GasGas is absolutely destroyed. This time, he won't leave.

Because yes, the race management sends the drivers away for less than two minutes. This does not change the ranking; Daniel Holgado stay first, in front Deniz Oncu et Joel Kelso.
