While small regional races had already hosted a few rare spectators, mainly in the rebellious South, MotoAmerica had organized the first round of his championship at Road America behind closed doors at the end of May. It was a great first this year for a major national championship. Wayne Rainey's team will take a new step in ten days by organizing the second round of its championship, again on the Road America circuit, but this time with spectators.

“We were extremely pleased with how the first round of the 2020 MotoAmerica Series at Road America went,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “We had strong TV viewing figures with FOX Sports, Eurosport, MAVTV, NBC Sports, YouTube and MotoAmerica Live+. The event ran smoothly, thanks to the efforts of our in-house staff, Road America staff, volunteers, drivers and teams. »

“Now we're going to go back to Road America and race in front of our fans, which will make this second race in Wisconsin even better. »

“The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of all of us and we are happy to give our fans the opportunity to come out and see racing at a world-class facility like Road America. We will do this, of course, following health guidelines. »

There will be two Superbike and Supersport races, as well as the Superstock 1000, the Twin Cup and the Junior Cup, not forgetting the Heritage Series Exhibition.

To watch these races from France, the two main solutions are MotoAmericaLive+ ($9,99 for the entire weekend in live streaming) and Eurosport. Otherwise, the Twin Cup race will be viewable on Facebook.
