After winning the MotoE World Cup in 2019 with Matteo Ferrari, the “Trentino Gresini MotoE Team” separated from Lorenzo Savadori who had only finished sixteenth in this Championship and who now left for World Superbike within of Team Pedercini for whom he had already ridden, alongside Jordi Torres.

Fausto Gresini has of course retained his spearhead Matteo Ferrari, who will team up in 2020 with Alessandro Zaccone. This 20-year-old Italian rider raced in the Italian Speed ​​Championship (CIV), in which he became Champion of the CBR600RR Cup in 2014, then present in the CEV, where he was third this year in the Moto2 category (which was dominated by Edgar Pons). He now joins Gresini in what is a new adventure for him in the all-electric category of MotoGP.

Zaccone's first run will take place from March 10 to 12 at Jerez de la Frontera, the same track that will host the start of the season on the first weekend of May.
