The Italian driver set the best time after the first two free practice sessions, ahead of Eric Granado and Lukas Tulovic.

Alessandro Zaccone (Octo Pramac MotoE) could not have hoped for a better start to the German MotoE Grand Prix! The Transalpine, leader of the championship by a small point ahead of Dominique Aegerter, hit the mark during the first two free practice sessions held at Assen today.

Two sessions contested in the dry

The drivers of the electric championship were rather well off in terms of the weather, since in both cases they escaped the bad weather and were thus able to ride in the dry. Ideal for perfecting settings for qualifying practice and the race.

Eric Granado (One Energy Racing) finished the day in second place, ahead of Lukas Tulovic (Tech3 E-Racing). Hikari Okubo (Avant Ajo MotoE) took fourth place ahead of Dominique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP) and defending champion Jordi Torres (Pons Racing 40).

A final free practice session will take place tomorrow from 11:50 a.m., before the qualifying session which is scheduled for mid-afternoon, at 16:10 p.m.
