The young duo of Tommaso Marcon and Lukas Tulovic will spearhead the Tech3 E-Racing team at the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup in 2020, with seven races contested from May to November.

Italian Marcon, 19 years old, competes with the same goal, after having participated in the Moto2 World Championship and two years of success in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship. Likewise, the German Tulovic, 19, comes from his first year in the Moto2 World Championship and is eager to fight for the second MotoE crown in history.

Tommaso Marcon : “I am very, very happy to be part of Tech3 E-Racing for 2020 and I am also very happy to test MotoE, because it is very important. My expectation for the coming season, and also my goal, is to fight for the FIM Enel MotoE Cup title and I guess that is the goal of the whole team. I will give my best to get there. »

Lukas Tulovic : “I am very grateful to Hervé Poncharal and the entire Tech3 E-Racing team for the chance to participate in the MotoE Championship. I have already followed the races and I am looking forward to this category, because they are short, but very exciting. It's impressive how fast you can go with these heavy machines, which the boys showed this year. Hector Garzo has already done very well this year, so I hope I can do as well as him. I'm here to fight up front, which is my mission, and I'm going to train hard for that this winter. I can't wait for the first tests and the first race! »

Hervé Poncharal : “I am very proud and happy to finally announce our Tech3 E-Racing MotoE team for the upcoming 2020 season. Obviously we've seen that young drivers have achieved incredible results in 2019 and I believe that's a trend that everyone will want to follow, so I decided to do it too. Our drivers will be Tommaso Marcon from Italy, 19 today, who will be 20 at the end of this year, and Lukas Tulovic from Germany, who will be 20 halfway through the 2020 season: c It is therefore a very young team, with an Italian rider and a German rider. Tommaso finished third in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship and Lukas scored points in his first season in the Moto2 World Championship. Tommaso will compete in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship again in 2020 and Lukas will also compete in the Supersport World Championship. We are very excited and we believe that these two boys will be leaders. We will keep the same team presentation and are very happy to have Total Hi-Perf on board with us for the second year in a row. We can't wait to start testing the Energica motorcycle. The first year was a big challenge, which produced some great races, but I believe everyone knows more about MotoE now, so 2020 will be even more exciting and even more professional, and I hope Tech3 will be at the front. So, welcome to Tommaso, welcome to Lukas! »
